A new beginning

I haven’t written in a long time and I think that it is time to come back and tell what I have learnt during the last few years so others can benefit from it.

It has been three years since I joined Topia and I have seen its fast grow from sixty to two hundred colleagues, doing company acquisitions and moving from having small customers to dealing with some of the biggest names in the world. It hasn’t been always an easy ride, but I have really enjoyed it and it has been great to share it with amazing professionals that I feel like part of my family.

Now that the company has a great product and the right processes in place, it is the moment to help another startup do a similar journey so it can reach more people. I haven’t found the company yet but there is no hurry. I prefer to ensure that it is the right place with a nice culture and with people that inspire me so I can continue improving my technical and management skills.

I still want to be hands-on and learn new technologies such as AWS and how to work with mobile apps, but also want to share what I have learnt so others can benefit from it. I have been to many events of the community in London and will try to give back.

I am already coaching people in my spare time and have joined a mentoring network, and will also start writing here. You will see soon some posts about team management, software architecture and startup life.

Thanks for being still there and welcome back!
